• Built on the rarer long-wheelbase Giardiniera chassis• Present ownership since 1978• Enjoyed by the lady vendor and her family in France and England• French registration documentManufactured in 1966, this Jolly was built on the long-wheelbase Giardiniera chassis and purchased by our lady vendor in 1978. Correspondence within the file show it was first registered in the UK on 18th April 1968 to a Mr Dixon having been gifted the Jolly by his Aunt who lived in the south of France. Believed to be one of 12 built for the Jolly Hotels on Capri, the car subsequently spent many years at the vendor's house in England from 1978 until 2003. The car has been cherished by the vendor, who has many fond memories of enjoying it with her family (see photographs on file). The Jolly has been repainted once during her ownership, and the roof refreshed. The car returned to her French property in 2003 and is offered with French registration papers and the aforementioned history file. Interested parties should note that the current Carte Grise shows the date of first circulation as 1968. Presumably, this is an error when processing the transfer from the UK to French registration over the years. The date of manufacture is listed as 1966 on the DVLA records. The car has always benefited from constant maintenance by the caring vendor.Offered from long term private ownership, this low mileage rare and wonderful Giardiniera Jolly is offered to the open market for the first time in 47 years.
